Social Posting That Moves People

Here are 5 learnings from my first coaching call with Dan Martell on his Social Media Strategy…

1) Posting on LinkedIn is not about selling or bragging. Posting is about moving people. Helping them move forward in their business or lives.

2) We get bored before our audience does. If you’re posting regularly, new people will see your content so keep sharing your story.

3) It’s not B2B or B2C, it’s H2H (Human 2 Human). Write as though you’re talking to someone else, not a crowd.

4) Show your expertise by knowing their pain. Describe the problem your customer is experiencing. E.g. It drives accountants crazy that they can’t find the time to work on strategic projects because they are stuck in the drudgery of transactions, their people are not talking to each other and technology doesn’t work.

5) Read the book: Exactly What to Say: The Magic Words for Influence and Impact – Phil M. Jones. This is next up on my Audible playlist – I’ll share my learnings shortly.
