That’s why I love Transformational Leadership by James Burns and Bernard Bass.
Because it’s simple and straightforward. Although forming the habit is more of a challenge 🙂.
My goal is to ask myself these 4 questions everyday and remind myself to be a transformational leader.
1) Idealized Influence: Have I demonstrated behaviors, standards and ethics I expect of my team?
2) Individual Consideration: Have a taken a genuine interest in each member of my team today?
3) Inspirational Motivation: Is my vision and goal clear and shared with my team?
4) Intellectual Stimulation: Have we challenged the status quo? What is it about the current process that’s really annoying?
